Electronic music to most, is something to dance to, to rage to or fist pump to. To me EDM is a life style or maybe even a religious belief. as soon as i caress the platter or savagely pound the cue button, realize that it is no longer me that is in control, it is the screaming high pitch synthesizers and the heart pounding bass line. My energy on stage is the only proof that EDM is more than just a sound… -JAYROKK

DJ Plaboi

 DJ Playboi
trying to keep it short and sweet ;)Playboi Presents:
Since 1998 began creating and producing events which originally started at Hellyer Park (San Jose, Ca) as Summer Day party events w over 500+ ppl from 1998 – 2002 until ultimately being shutdown by Santa Clara county due to massive crowds. Playboi also then migrated to the Rave & nightclub scene in 99/2000-2003 promoting for various promoters at the time such as Pauly P with the FreakFest raves at the San Jose Fairgrounds, BOSS ent at Ciub Rio, and G Spot events for various nightclubs in San Jose all now defunct.
By 2004/05 Playboi decided to go on his own and dominate the Nightlife industry in the South bay area, and did just that. in 2006 Playboi Presents unbeknownst made nightlife history beginning the largest Thursday night weekly event in Northern California “Patronz Thursdays” which ran from 2006-2008 w over 1100 people flocking from all cities around the bay area every week located at Scores Sportsbar San Jose, Ca, also while holding down the biggest Tuesday night weekly party with 500+ ppl every week at Cuccinis downtown San Jose and his monthly events on the weekends. Furthermore began what was highly influential throughout the nightlife industry years later and highly successful in the business was bringing some of the nations most recognized & renowned djs to the bay area, which at the time was unheard of and very uncommon.
During this time around 2007 invested in his first nightclub in Modesto, Ca Modesto Sports Bar & Grill, but what was even bigger, teamed up with roomate & partner of “LickVip: – Kenny C., and Ted Skillet of to begin officially producing and presenting all of the official Myspace events for the SF Bay area, one of those was a Residency with DJ AM at Aura in Pleasanton for a year. That same year Playboi broke into the SF, Las Vegas, & LA markets launching the huge collective effort of promoters across california “Rockstar” brand. “Rockstar SF” was born at Roe nightclub producing some of the biggest Open Format lineups on multiple floors with Lineups such as Dj Vice, DJ Shift + Scooter/Lavelle, Dj Five + Steve Smooth + Drummer KC + Kennedy, DJ Homicide + David Garcia + DJ Cobra + Sondra Barker of Channel E + Ricky Rocks, Eric Cubiche + Drummer KC, DJ Riz + Steve Smooth, Dj Shift + DJ Scotty Boy, Dj Scene + Ron Reeser & many many many more. “Rockstar LA” was also hugely successful with partners in the socal nightlife industry but a highlight was the highly Successful “Rockstar Las Vegas” events in 2006/2007 at the Paris Hotel, Rio Hotel and the biggest one of 3k people inside the Stratosphere Pollyesthers nightclub with an estimated 30k budget (2007 money) one celebrity host + overs 20 djs – never done before combining some of the biggest Promoters in California in each cities of SF, LA, San Jose, & San Diego to make the feat all possible.
It was also this time in 2007/2008 Playboi decided to take on Djing more serious and make it a profession along with his regular nightlife agenda promoting and producing events. In 2009 during the recession Playboi took over his 2nd nightclub of now defunct club “The Vault”. To this day Playboi continues to work with many of the same and top rated djs throughout the nation, while holding down his own hectic dj schedule throughout the bay area and US. All this while continuing his main successful monthly events which began in the mid 2000’s such as DIVA SF, ROCKSTAR SF, FAME, & BFF at Various venues throughout San Francisco.
In 2013 Playboi began the RPM Group which is a Nightlife Marketing & Entertainment management/consulting company. Currently now handling the Marketing and Entertainment for one of San Francisco’s top nightclubs, Manor West in San Francisco and also Blowfish Sushi Santana Row, San Jose.
On the Dj aspect, you can now catch “Dj” Playboi any given weekend holding dj residencies at some of San Francisco’s top nightclubs but also continuously djing in many cities throughout the US.  Frank Nitty

Frank Nitty

began his career in the SF Rave Scene at a party called “Elmo”. It was at this party, he would meet up with his future partner in crime, “DJ Ghost” along with his future production company. In 94′, Frank Nitty and two promoters from “Elmo” started up a production company called “Small World Productions”. Together they threw numerous parties at the infamous warehouse located at 16th and Harrison or also known as the “Hayes Theater”. Among these parties were “It’s a small world”, and “Indonesia”. The line-ups for these parties consisted of “DJ Dan”, “Donald Glaude”, “Simon”, “Jeno”, “Frank Nitty” and “DJ Ghost”. “Indonesia” was such a success, that it became a weekly Wednesday nightclub and was moved to club “DV8”. Frank Nitty and Small World Productions had split up and gone there separate ways in 1995. Frank Nitty went on continuing to spin at numerous parties. In October of 95′, Frank Nitty threw a party on his own called “Planet E” which was his most successful solo adventure. It was in May of 96′ that Frank Nitty and DJ Ghost were billed as a four-turntable act at a party called “Enchantment”. This act had later gotten them booked for a party called “Megga Buzz”. In June of 96′, Frank Nitty threw “Indonesia 2 The Reunion” which was Indonesia’s two-year anniversary. The party had a small turnout but had a good vibe. The line up consisted of the regulars at the weekly Wednesday Indonesia in 94′, such as “Jeno”, “Frank Nitty”, “DJ Ghost” and “Kwashi”. In September, Frank Nitty and DJ Ghost played at “Megga Buzz” on four-turntables at the infamous rave warehouse, “HomeBase” in Oakland, California. Their performance together was instant chemistry that it astonished the crowd in overwhelming excitement. Soon afterwards, Frank Nitty joined Ghostribe and stopped promoting parties. From 1997 to 1999, Frank Nitty and DJ Ghost playing their now famous 4 turntable act rocked countless massives at the HomeBase warehouse. In 99′, Frank Nitty created his alter ego “Danja” playing jump up drum and bass with partna “Spek”. Danja’s first release was “Dangerous Muzik”. Danja and Spek then went on to collaborate on a CD called “JungleGround”. At the end of 99′, a new member was added to the Ghostribe Krew, “MC Ragga Banton”. MC Ragga Banton began to work with Danja and Spek using his dance hall ragga style over hip hop flavored drum and bass. In 2000 Frank Nitty got involved with a radio show that opened up the airwaves to underground music. Hosted by Wild 94.9’s St. John , Frank Nitty and the Ghostribe Krew rock the funky beats every other Friday 2001 the radio show HouseNation was the #1 mix show in the bay area. In 2003 Frank Nitty hung up his headphones and went on hiatus. In 2007 Frank Nitty started a skateboard company ironically named Ghostribe Skateboards. In 2010, after a 7 year hiatus, Frank Nitty rejoined the cast of HouseNation and was featured on 99.7 NOW every Saturday night up until the end of 2012.
